A timeless classic, the Old Fashioned is one of the oldest and most recognisable whiskey-based cocktails in the world, made with only a handful of simple ingredients.
Glass: Lowball
Ingredients:
• 60ml Bourbon Whiskey
• 15ml Sugar Syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 tsp orange juice
• Orange Slice
• Cocktail Cherry
Steps:
• Muddle the sugar together with the Angostura in a separate mixing glass
• Add in the orange juice
• Pour in the Bourbon
• Add Ice to the mixing glass and stir with a spoon for 8 seconds
• Strain out the cocktail over ice into a short glass
• Garnish with the orange slice and cherry
