One of the worlds most favourite Tiki cocktails, the name Mai Tai' comes from a Taihitian word meaning 'the best', and this really is the most accurate way to describe it. Its consists of a straightforward blend of fresh and bold flavours.
If you have a hard time finding Orgeat or any other almond syrup, try substituting it with amaretto for a similar flavour.
Glass: Lowball
Ingredients:
• 50ml Rum
• 25ml Triple Sec
• 30ml Lime Juice
• 12.5ml Orgeat
• 10ml Sugar Syrup
• Lime wedge
• Mint Sprig
Steps:
• Add all the ingredients into a shaker
• Fill with ice and shake
• Strain into a glass filled of ice
• Garnish with a lime wedge and mint sprig
