Just like a Daiquiri, a Gimlet is an old cocktail used by the Navy to persuade sailors to consume more citrus to combat scurvy, and was known at the time as 'Limey' and 'Grog'. Luckily for everyone, the rise of modern medicine did little to eliminate the demand for this easy-to-make delight.
Glass: Martini/Coupe/Nick & Nora
Ingredients:
• 50ml Gin
• 40ml Lime Juice
• 10ml Sugar Syrup
• Lime Twist
Steps:
• Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake
• Double strain into a glass with no ice
• Garnish with a lime twist
