One of France's most recognisable aperitifs, the French 75 (understandably just called 'The 75' in France) is a small drink that packs a surprisingly big punch.

Its makes an incredible addition to any important (or not!) breakfast or brunch.

Glass: Flute

• 25ml Gin
• 12.5ml Lemon Juice
• 12.5ml Sugar Syrup
• 75ml Champagne
• Lemon Twist

• Add the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup into a shaker
• Add ice and shake, then strain into the glass with no ice
• Fill the glass with champagne
• Garnish with a lemon twist
