The Blue Hawaiian can best be thought of as an alternative Pina Colada, blending the signature coconut-y flavour with a striking dash of colour. Not to be confused with the, almost identically named, Blue Hawaii, which merely substitutes the coconut cream for equal parts lemon juice and sugar syrup.

Glass: Belgium

• 50ml Rum
• 25ml Blue Curaçao
• 12.5ml Lime Juice
• 25ml Coconut Cream
• 50ml Pineapple Juice
• Pineapple Wedge
• Cocktail Cherry

• Fill a cocktail shaker with all the ingredients
• Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard
• Single strain into a glass over crushed ice
• Garnish with a pineapple wedge and cocktail cherry
